Brendan Coyle is the Managing Director of Assured Financial Solutions Ltd (AFS) and a highly experienced financial services professional with over 30 years of industry expertise across both corporate and retail sectors.

Originally from South Africa, Brendan relocated to his father’s homeland, Ireland, in 2001. Since then, he has held senior management roles with three of Ireland’s leading life assurance companies: Aviva, Canada Life, and Irish Life. His broad professional background includes leadership in product development, operations management, sales strategy, and business growth.

Motivated by a desire to work directly with clients, Brendan became a Qualified Financial Advisor and transitioned from the corporate world to personal financial advisory services. He joined Assured Financial Solutions in October 2018, where he continues to provide tailored advice to individuals and businesses, helping clients achieve their financial goals with clarity and confidence.

In 2022, Brendan was honoured to assume ownership of AFS. Under his leadership, the company prides itself in a client-first ethos, driven by integrity, transparency, and bespoke personal service.

Outside the office, Brendan is actively involved in his local community. He mentors young players at Lismore Cricket Club where he shares both his time and experience. Assured Financial Solutions Ltd. is also proud to sponsor the club, further supporting youth development and grassroots sport in the region.

Alexandria Dancey

Practice Manager | Data Protection Officer

Alexandria Dancey joined AFS Ltd. in 2021. In her roles as Practice Manager, Company Secretary and Data Protection Officer at Assured Financial Solutions Ltd, she is key in ensuring the seamless delivery of services to clients and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance.

With over two decades of experience in HR and management across the UK and the USA, Alexandria brings a wealth of organizational insight and strategic oversight to the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Bristol and completed her C-DPO training to become our Data Protection Officer at University College Dublin (UCD).

Alexandria has a background in psychotherapy, which brings a unique and deeply human perspective to the business. This insight allows her to lead the company with empathy and emotional intelligence—qualities that resonate throughout the firm’s culture and client relationships. In 2025 Alexandria presented a paper on Compounded Stress in The Workplace at Trinity College, Dublin, promoting transparency for mental health issues impacting employees.

Colette Cronin

Senior Financial Advisor | Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA)

Colette Cronin is a Senior Financial Advisor at Assured Financial Solutions Ltd and a trusted figure within the firm, known for her dedication, integrity, and exceptional client care. With over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, Colette has built long-standing relationships with clients—many of whom have relied on her guidance for years and regard her as both a trusted advisor and a valued confidante.

Before moving into financial services, Colette had a successful career in the retail sector, including holding the franchise for the retail newsagents at Cork University Hospital. In pursuit of a new challenge, she transitioned into financial services, beginning her advisory journey with Canada Life.

In 2006, she joined Assured Financial Solutions Ltd, where she has since become an integral part of the advisory team. Known for her client-centric approach and attention to detail, Colette consistently delivers personalized financial advice and planning services of the highest standard.

Colette holds the designation of Qualified Financial Advisor and is currently furthering her professional qualifications by pursuing the Retirement Planning Advisor designation.

Her professionalism, warmth, and unwavering commitment to clients make her one of the most respected and valued members of the AFS team.

Ann Fitzgerald

Ann Fitzgerald is the Senior Office Administrator at Assured Financial Solutions Ltd. and has been an integral part of the team since joining in 2016. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, Ann is a familiar and trusted face—someone who knows our clients well and genuinely cares about delivering an excellent standard of service.

With a strong background in office administration, Ann brings professionalism, attention to detail, and warmth to every client interaction. Her experience spans a range of administrative and support roles, including secretarial duties and executive support, all of which contribute to the calm efficiency she brings to her work at AFS.

Ann plays a central role in supporting both new and existing business processes within the firm. Her knowledge of our clients, combined with her commitment to service, ensures smooth day-to-day operations and a welcoming experience for everyone who contacts or visits our office.

Catherine Allen

Appointments Officer

Catherine Allen is the Appointments Officer at Assured Financial Solutions Ltd and plays a vital role in maintaining the strong relationships we have built with our clients over many years. As the familiar voice behind our annual review calls, Catherine ensures that every client is contacted in a timely and professional manner, helping to keep their financial plans up to date and on track.

Known for her no-nonsense approach and strong organizational skills, Catherine is efficient, dependable, and deeply committed to supporting both clients and colleagues alike. Her consistent presence and clear communication make her a valued point of contact for many of our long-standing clients, who appreciate her straightforward manner and dedication to service.

Brian Comiskey BA QFA

Financial Adviser

With 18 years of extensive experience in the financial services sector, Brian Comiskey brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to client success. He began his professional journey with a BA in Accounting, which laid the groundwork for his transition into financial services. His career started at Canada Life, where he successfully completed his QFA exams, becoming a qualified financial adviser.

Brian then moved into the brokerage space, where he honed his skills and successfully ran a business in Dublin, building lasting relationships with clients and delivering tailored financial solutions. His passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals led him to join Money Plus as a Business Development Manager/Financial Adviser. In this role, he played a pivotal part in business expansion, with a strong focus on enhancing services for Dublin clients.

In 2025 Brian joins us at AFS as a member of our financial advisory team, where he aims to leverage his extensive experience and deep understanding of the financial landscape to further drive growth and provide exceptional service to our clients. His commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction makes him a valuable asset to the AFS team.
